Hoefner Galaxie instruments were some of the most popular of the Beat Generation during the 60´s. Expensive american fabricates such as Fender, Gretsch and Rickenbacker were just not as affordable. so Galaxies guitars were quite common. Hoefner have brought guitars and basses from this series back on the market at attractive prices again, and are as in the 60´s very popular!!
