Diverse The Valve The 105
Tube amps generally sound best when the power section is pushed into clipping but this involves high volumes. The 105 series delivers 5W and incorporates Power Scaling (www.powerscaling.com), a special attenuation volume which allows to achieve the same tone as our loud sound but at a much lower volume, for cranked amp tone and distortion at whisper levels (see videos below). This is our favorite way of using the 105 for great tones since the power tube and output transformer contribute to the sound.
